A choice of 3 route options are available –
- Epic – 100 miles
- Standard – 77 miles
- Short – 40 miles
“The 3 routes start out from the Agricultural Centre in the middle of town and climbs gradually up to the historic village of Eyam and over into the Hope valley. A quiet loop through Edale Village leads to the first main climb, the ascent of Mam Tor, a real leg burner but great views at the top!
Not long after the Short route riders depart on their own route cultimating in the climb up to Monsal Head, not to be taken lightly, before dropping back to Bakewell. Epic and Standard riders continue their adventure out to the west of the park with some tough climbs and blistering descents rewarded with stunning views, open countryside and quiet roads. An extra southern loop awaits the epic riders before the Alpine-like ascent at Crowdicote leads both groups of riders to the finishing stretch down into Bakewell, where a well-earned medal awaits all riders.
