Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012 Announced

Wiggle have stepped in as headline sponsors for this years Mountain Mayhem weekend. Whilst primarily one for the mountain bikers amongst us there is also confirmation that the weekend of events will again include the Sunday Munch Road Sportive on the 24th June 2012.

Wiggle and Pacific Edge Events are delighted to announce that Wiggle will be the title sponsor for the 15th Mountain Mayhem. Entries will be available from midnight 29th February 2012. Free camping is available for all entrants.

Recognised as the UK’s biggest MTB celebration Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012 will welcome cyclists of all levels and abilities – part-time, full-time and anything in between! Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012 will treat over 2000 riders to a route that pits pedal-power against the challenging terrain of Eastnor Castle Deer Park.

Entrants will be able to be a part of the internationally acclaimed 24 hour MTB event that set the tone for other 24 hour endurance rides that now take place across the world. Still holding the prestigious status as UK’s largest 24 hour endurance race, it also gives entrants a perfect opportunity to fundraise for a charity close to their heart.

As well as the 24 hour event, there is also the Sunday Munch (a sportive ride), the Jnr24@24 for youger riders and Midsummer Madness (a run). That’s not all though – there’s also Barking Mad (K9 Running) plus othere will be a great programme of Mini Mayhem events too (keep checking the website for details). We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – Mountain Mayhem really does have something for everyone!

Tickets will be available from the Wiggle website and entrants will also be encouraged to make the annual pilgrimage to event organiser Patrick Adams’ house where they’ll be welcomed with a big smile and a fantastic atmosphere! Previous years’ have seen stealth-like exits from Aston Martins to the front door, entry in-hand. Needless to say, entrants to Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012 will undoubtedly offer Patrick some more surprises!

With retail stands, a scenic location and fantastic riding to watch, spectators will also be well accommodated at the Wiggle Mountain Mayhem 2012. Why not make use of the convenient and well-equipped camping facilities? Camping is free for Mountain Mayhem participants, supporters and spectators so entrants have the opportunity to experience the stunning Herefordshire countryside for the entire weekend.
