The second running of the Igloo Sportive based from Chesterfield in and around the Eastern Moors of the Peak District National Park on predominantly quiet roads and lanes.
ROUTE INFORMATION
2 route options are available –
- Shorter route – 68km with approx. 1309m of ascent
- Longer route – 127km with approx. 2398m of ascent
“Based from Chesterfield and heading into the hills/moorlands of the Eastern Peak District. Spectacular, hilly, scenic riding in the Eastern Peak District/Peak National Park countryside wherever possible avoiding main roads – the long route has plenty of challenging climbing including: Froggatt (Cat 3), Edale/Barber Booth, Monsal Head, Kirk Dale, Rowsley Bar”
