Brought to you by the organisers of the New Forest Rattler, The Meon Valley Riser is a fantastic early season challenge, taking in many of the great climbs in the area including Harvesting Lane, Stoner Hill and Old Winchester Hill.

“Following the success of the 2013 event, riders will again set off clockwise around the Meon Valley with the major climbs coming during the first half of the course(s). There is a fantastically fast 10 mile section towards the latter part of this event, which we’re sure you will all love. However, there will still be Portsdown Hill – a.k.a the Lactivator – 3 miles from the finish, the organisers couldn’t resist a little sting in the tail!“
