EVENT SUMMARY
The KinesisUK Hell of the West Cyclo-X Sportive is a new event from the team at Spike. 100km of trails, moorland tracks and a few ‘special’ sections thrown in for good measure will offer a tough but rewarding ride.
Whilst it’s badged as a Cyclo-X Sportive, the Hell of the West is also open to riders on mountain bikes. The terrain is a mix of road and off road so for the more confident rider a cross bike will probably be the best choice, but if you are new to riding off road or you just don’t have a cross bike then a mountain bike will be fine.
