The first ever Santini Cotswold Autumn Classic is due to take place on Sunday 7th October – and with advanced entries due to close on Monday (1st October) time is running out to get yourself signed up if you want to take part in this sportive.

Organiser Andy Kirk told us “We’ve been really happy with the response we’ve had to this new event – and with the St James Place Foundation reserving over 100 spaces for their fund raisers, on top of the online entries we’ve already had, we’re getting really close to our 500 rider limit already.”

Like the Santini Cotswold Spring Classic that runs over the Easter weekend each year, the Autumn Classic uses the same great venue at Cirencester College – meaning there is lots of parking available on-site, not to mention changing rooms, showers and plenty of inside space to sit and enjoy your hot meal (all included in the price) when you’ve finished the ride.

The event now also includes a 50km event for those wanting to try their hand at sportives for the first time. This 50km route will include its own feed station at half distance and also full mechanical support and back up out on the course – making it the idea option for those not confident it riding the longer distances. As well as the 50km route, there are also options for the longer 100km and full 160km routes. Full route details are on the website, along with route profiles.

The Santini Cotswold Autumn Classic is a fully supported sportive, complete with NEG rider support, well stocked feed stations, neutral service support, free hot food for all finishers, a goodie bag and much more. Full details about the event can be found on the event website www.cotswoldautumnclassic.co.uk
