The 2014 Exmoor Beauty will launch on December 1st this year and the organisers are anticipating another sell-out for, what has rapidly become, the west-country’s premier springtime sportive. All 1000 places in last April’s challenge, through the Exmoor National Park, were ultimately filled way ahead of the planned closing date and, with very few advanced withdrawals, only a handful of reserves were able to take the start.

‘The Beauty’ will again be based at Tiverton High School, which recently hosted the Exmoor Beast, and organisers MIG Events are now confident of the venue’s workable capacity. “This will be the third time we’ve staged an event at the school and our experience this autumn confirmed that we will be able to comfortably accommodate 1700 riders next spring.” said MIG’s managing director Marcus Di Vincenzo. “The event’s 60 mile route received rave reviews after it was first used last year, with many declaring it a great warm up for the longer sportives later in the season. However, make no mistake, with nearly 6000 ft of climbing, this is no ride in the park; it’s a real challenge in its own right.” he added.

The entry fee for the popular April 27th fixture will remain at £29, for full details, and to enter the event visit –
