Dartmoor Classic Cyclosportive 2012

More dates for 2012 events continue to get confirmed, this time it’s the popular Dartmoor Clasic Cyclosportive that will take place on Sunday 24th June 2012.
On-line registration for the event goes live at midnight on Saturday 29th October and, despite increasing capacity year on year, the popular Mid-Devon Cycling Club promotion is always oversubscribed and an early sell-out of places is again expected.
The event is organised by the Mid-Devon C.C. in association with Specialized, the UCI sanctioned fixture will take place on Sunday 24th June with the extensive ‘Depart Village’ opening on Saturday. Trade exhibitors, family attractions, live music and on-site catering are all part of the vibrant atmosphere created in the village throughout the 2 day festival.
In previous years riders have claimed it to be one of the best sportive experiences in the UK the event noted for its slick organisation, bountiful feeding stations, army of smiling marshals and unique granite trophies for all finishers as well as an abundance of Specialized goodies.
Entry for the 2012 event remains unchanged at £27 and will offer riders a choice of routes through the breathtaking scenery of the Dartmoor National Park.
