The Cotswold Edge Sportive on October 14th is selling fast, and organisers Southern Sportive have warned that remaining spaces may be limited. Martin Harrison from Southern Sportive says, “The Cotswold Edge is our new end of season event. We launched it last year as a more intimate and friendly season closer, but with numbers already doubling last year’s attendance it is growing to rival many of our more established. We shouldn’t really be surprised about that; the course is stunning, the roads are beautifully quiet and the locals are as event-friendly as we have encountered anywhere in the country!”

The routes feature a choice of distances up to 128km and are rich with lucious Cotswold scenery and fearsome Cotswold gradients, including the calf-startling Kilcott Hill which you are (cruelly or kindly?) offered as an ‘optional climb’ right at the end of the ride! Dare you take on that final challenge – or dare you not?

You’ll get the full support and expertise of Southern Sportive’s unrivalled experience to back up your ride as always, including top notch signage, well stocked feed stations, on route support and instant rider timing, and all for a sub-£20 entry fee. Southern Sportive are working on extra parking capacity to meet this year’s increased demand, but they do recommend that you book now if you want to guarantee your place.
