2014 Etape Series Launches Next Week
Posted Friday 22nd November 2013 –
The 2014 Etape Caledonia and the Etape Pennines will be opening for entries next week. If you register your interest now you will get a 48 hour priority entry window starting from 10:00am on Wednesday 27th November with general entries going on sale via their website at 10:00am on Friday 29th November.
There will be 3 types of entry, general entry to either of the events, an Etape Double option for riders who want to ride both and Charity Pledge option for riders willing to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The Etape Caledonia takes place on 11th May and each year attracts over 5,000 riders to Pitlochry in Perthsire for the 81 mile
closed road cycle challenge. Last year the event sold out in less than 48 hours so you’ll need to act quickly if you want to secure your place at the start line.
The Etape Pennines gets a few changes for 2014, it moves forward a couple of months to a summer date taking place on the 20th July and will now be based on a shortened course of 60 miles instead of 84 miles.
