EVENT SUMMARY
For 2013 the Wiggle Super Series retain their tradition of offering a free to enter ‘No Excuses’ ride, starting from Huntingdon Racecourse in Cambridgeshire. It’s free to ride although the catch is if you enter and don’t turn up you won’t get your entry fee refunded, hence the name ‘no excuses’.

ORGANISERS WEBSITE
Epic (80 miles) cancelled due to bad weather so we all rode the 40 mile route.
I think a lot of people were disappointed they didn’t have the option to choose for themselves, but I think the organisers made the only sensible call on behalf of people that might have bitten off more than they could chew.
I was disappointed too, but sort of glad to see the finish line as I was utterly soaked through and pretty cold!
The sort of ride that makes you realise why you don’t choose to ride in these conditions and makes you appreciate fine weather and turbo trainers!
