Wiggle Magnificat Under New Ownership

The UCI accredited Magnificat has been taken over by ‘UK Cycling Events’, the successful UCI event will be added to the extensive Wiggle Super Series, which over recent years has set the bench mark for quality, innovation and level of organisation in the sportive market. The event goes on sale via www.ukcyclingevents.co.uk, on the 7th of November and riders who book early will be given a High 5 Race Faster Pack.

Wiggle will continue to sponsor the Magnificat which will take place on the 14th of July 2013 from the superb Newbury Racecourse. With UK Cycling Events expertise and resources the event aims to grow from its traditional 1500 attendance to 2500+ riders, making it the must do Summer Southern Sportive.

Martin Barden from UK Cycling Events said ” we are delighted to add the Magnificat to our portfolio of events. The Magnificat is renowned for it’s quality and heritage with it’s UCI accreditation. Our aim is to further enhance the riders experience over the coming years making this great event even better”.

The route will be revamped for 2013, but the route lengths of 127miles (200km), 81miles, 51 miles. The Ladies only 26 miles ‘Breeze LadyCat’ route will also continue.
