We’ve just received details of the Cotswold Crunch charity sportive that is being run to raise funds from the Cotswold Care Hospice. Taking place on the 2th June it will feature a choice of 75 or 100 mile routes starting from Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire and taking in the Cotswold Five Valleys.

The 75 mile route with 11 hills and 1,322 metres of climbing is ideal for cyclists who have not tried a sportive event before or who are not confident of their ability to ride 100 miles around fairly hilly terrain.  Whilst still a challenge it should be within the abilities of anyone who has done some training.

The full 100 mile route with 12 hills and 1,548 metres of climbing is for those wanting to take on a testing route that is about maximum output, testing climbs and exciting descents and will showcase some of the less obvious climbs and sections the area has to offer.
