EVENT DATE

Sunday 1st September 2013

LOCATION

Failand, Bristol

EVENT SUMMARY

Now going into its 4th year the Bristol Belter will be welcoming the riders with a perfect selection of rolling hills, coastal views, lung bursting climbs and spine tingling gorge descents – simply the best North Somerset and the Mendips have to offer.

ROUTE INFORMATION

A choice of 3 route options are on offer –

  • Classic Sportive – approx. 151km long with 1,900metres of climbing
  • Standard Sportive – approx 110km long with 1,300 metres of climbing
  • Mini Sportive – approx 85km long with 1,050 metres of climbing

“The three courses on offer will be primarily run on quiet roads away from the main flow of traffic and will showcase some of the less obvious climbs and sections the area has to offer. That doesn’t mean that you will not be tested on iconic climbs like the Cheddar Gorge or Burrington Combe but on top of that there will be a few surprises thrown into the mix which will make the ride a real experience even for local sportive riders
