Sportive Kinross This Weekend

Sportive Kinross, in association with Alpine Bikes, Scotland’s only sell out open road cycle sportive runs from Loch Leven Community Campus in Kinross this morning (Saturday 27th April). The event is in its third sell out year and has raised over £22,000 for the partner charity CHAS, plus providing new bikes for the volunteer Police cyclists of Kinross and is helping fund.
Event Director Paul Zarb said “we are delighted with the way the event is developing, the spirit if the riders and all those who support the event is simply fantastic whatever the weather brings” The riders set off from the campus at 08:30 on one of three challenging but scenic routes taking them into Fife, Perthshire, Clackmannanshire, before returning into Kinross-shire.
