“For the past few years Southport Cycling Club have organised rides in memory of Bill Bradley, with proceeds and donations going to support the Macmillan Nurses Appeal.
Bills cycling career spanned many years,with the highlights being the mid 50s to mid 60s,a period in which he represented Great Britain at home and abroad, the peak years being 59/60 when he won the Tour of Britain on both occasions. After retiring from racing Bill continued to enjoy his cycling, helping to run the club and just riding his bike socially with family and friends.”
