RIDE24 is the ultimate thigh-busting, stamina draining, 24-hour, non-stop relay racing spectacular that will push riders to their limits. The team with the most laps covered in 24 hours will win the coveted RIDE24 WINNERS TEAM title. The winning team will also secure themselves a free place in the 2014 French 24 Heures Velo, at the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans.

The fully equipped rider village will keep riders going with 24-hour hot food and refreshments, sports massage therapists, bike mechanics and shower facilities, which along with the ample camping, will ensure that you can focus on the challenge of conquering the mighty RIDE24.

Olympic gold medallist, triple world champion and former world record holder Chris Boardman MBE says: “As an ambassador working with Action Medical Research I cannot recommend too highly their commitment towards all things cycling.”

Chris Hill, who took part in the 2013 RIDE24 said: “I have done Action rides before, both RIDE100 series and the Action London to Paris, but I had not done RIDE24. So I am used to how well Action put events together and this was no different. I don’t think I have ever met a bunch of people so happy in their work and so prepared to give, to make sure everyone is catered for. We were properly spoilt!

“It ran like clockwork (even if it didn’t, you never let on!) and the our team (the Wild Hogs) were buzzing at the end. We are all really pleased that we were able to contribute to the charity and have such a great experience at the same time. We are very grateful.”

Open to relay teams of four-six as well as solo riders of all abilities, on any bike, there are a variety of ways to fund a place: Option 1- Teams of four, £240 plus £1,300 in sponsorship. Option 2 – Teams of four, £1,000 and no further sponsorship. Option 3 – Solo riders, £60 plus £325 in sponsorship. Option 4 – Solo riders, £250 and no further sponsorship.
