A new event for 2012 supported by Rutland Cycling and experienced sportive organisers Wheels in Wheels the event uniquely gives riders the choice of two start locations, either from Grafham or Rutland Water.

  • 70 miles
  • 57 miles

“Starting from either Grafham or Rutland Water, Reservoir Cogs is a demanding but rewarding figure of eight route through the beautiful lanes of Rutland, Cambridgeshire and Northants. Reservoir Cogs is the UK’s first dual-start Sportive and open to a wide range of cyclists and abilities. Those taking on the full route of just over 100 miles (the ‘big cog’) will complete the same course, but riders who would rather tackle a shorter distance can choose from the ‘top ring of 57 miles starting at Rutland’ or ‘bottom ring of 70 miles starting from Grafham.”
