Rapha Rising Challenge

Following on from the success of the Rapha Festive 500 Challenge which took place last Christmas Rapha have launched a new challenge to coincide with this years Tour de France.

They’re challenging you to climb the same amount of elevation as the Tour de France riders will ride over the six high mountain stages in the Pyrenees and the Alps. This totals out at 21,125m of climbing which the pro’s will do in nine days, although you get a slightly more generous timeframe as Rapha are giving you from the 2nd to the 24th July to complete it.

As with the Festive 500 document your progress by whetever means you prefer and post it on the Rapha Facebook page for the chance to win some Tour de France inspired prizes.

It seems a particularly tough challenge to us, the total figure is the equivalent of riding the Fred Whitton route five and a half times or riding the Hell of The Ashdown Route nearly eleven times. So with 23 days to complete it you just need to go and ride the Hell of The Ashdown course every other day and you’ll have it in the bag!
