Led by double Olympic champion James Cracknell, Threshold Sports is celebrating an incredible year of cycling by launching an even bigger version of their capital classic, the MITIE London Revolution. Next year 2,500 riders will have the opportunity to escape the city, explore the beautiful scenery around London and ride historic Olympic cycling venues over the weekend of the 18-19 May 2013.

Entries opened on Monday 19th November at midday with demand expected to be high once again. It’s accessible for novice and elite cyclists The route has been designed so it is accessible for everyone, remaining challenging for experienced cyclists but feasible for novices to give it a go. For those who are doing their first 100 miler, the roads are quiet and they will have chaperone guides throughout the weekend helping with group riding, road safety and keeping a steady pace. As for the racers, they can live their dreams with 2 laps of Herne Hill velodrome and an Olympic photo opportunity as they sprint up the Box Hill zig zags. All mechanical, medical and logistical support is included and so all riders need to do is enjoy the view.
