EVENT SUMMARY

Join thousands of other cyclists in a 2 day 180 mile loop of the capital. The fully supported and signed route takes in iconic London landmarks, scenic backroads and legendary Olympic sites and you can break up the weekend with an overnight camp and party at half way

ROUTE INFORMATION

Option to ride both or either days –

  • Saturday – 101 miles – Waterways & Woods to Windsor Castle
  • Sunday – 84 miles – History, Heritage & Sporting Heroics

“The route is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the city life as riders are guided out of London towards Epping Forest before heading west through the Chilterns and over the Grand Union Canal. The ride then heads south, dropping down past Windsor castle to Windsor Racecourse; the site of the overnight base camp and party. Recovering with free massages and hot showers, riders will enjoy an evening of music, outdoor cinema, bars, dinner and a few other cycling attractions. Setting off the next morning for another 80 miles, the ride heads South-East skirting Windsor Great Park and the North Downs including the infamous climb of Box Hill following in the footsteps of the Olympic greats. The route then takes the riders back North towards London, twice around the newly resurfaced Herne Hill Velodrome before crossing Tower Bridge to finish at Peruvian Wharf on Sunday afternoon.”
