Following the success of last year’s event, London-based charity Widehorizons is running its second Kent sportive. Fool’s Errand II – More Fool You is taking place on Sunday 7th April starting in the rural village of Hildenborough, near Tonbridge. This spectacular 120km ride takes place along quiet roads and country lanes through the beautiful countryside and picturesque villages of Kent. With the first shoots of spring there couldn’t be a better time to see the glorious sweeping valley views, green hills, and distant horizons whilst taking on the challenging terrain of the Kent Weald and North Downs.

Last year’s event was a huge success with not one person saying they wouldn’t want to come back in 2013:

“Superb day. Brilliant organisation. Even got the weather right!”

“Just a really well run event start to finish.”

“The route was amongst the most enjoyable (not to say challenging!) that I’ve encountered, with a perfect mix of scenery and hills.”

For just £20, Fool’s Errand participants can enjoy all the top notch facilities you’d expect from a sportive with accurate race timing, mechanical sport, excellent route-marking, and a well-stocked feed station. Riders can expect a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout the event and will be greeted with a simple hot meal when they return from their ride.

Widehorizons is an outdoor education charity which provides life-changing outdoor adventures to over 32,000 children and young people across the UK every year. All of the proceeds after costs from The Fool’s Errand go towards providing unforgettable outdoor adventures to children who would not normally be able to afford this kind of opportunity.
