With only days now remaining, the clock really is ticking down to the close of entries for the Exmoor Beauty cycle sportive. Those received over Easter took the new total to approaching 900 – already a staggering 20% up on last year – and the revised cap of a thousand will now, no doubt, put the final places at a premium. The medium term weather outlook also appears to be heading in the right direction. According to recent Met Office reports, there remain signs of a transition from the current colder than average conditions to those more typical for April and sunshine amounts are likely to be closer to the seasonal average in the west of the U.K. “It all looks like it’s shaping up to be a really great day out on the bike and I’m looking forward to welcoming all the riders to the new start in Tiverton on April 21st” said Marcus Di Vincenzo, the event’s chief organiser.
