Claimed to be the hardest Peak District sportive ever with 4000m (>13000ft) of ascent in just 162km (100 miles).

ROUTE INFORMATION

3 route options are available –

  • Peak Epic – 162km (100 miles) with 4,000 metres of ascent
  • Peak Epic Medium – 100km (62 miles) 2100 metre ascent – shorter version of the Peak Epic perfect for those not quite ready for the big one but a challenging enough
  • Mini Peak Epic – 60km (37 miles) 1200m of ascent

“The ultimate sportive challenge. The toughest Peak District sportive ever envisioned. The route weaves it’s way across the breadth of the Peak District on small country lanes passing over 14 categorised climbs (over 20 actual climbs) including Longstone Edge, Higger Tor and the infamous Winnats Pass. Once the riders reach the finish they will have ascended 4000 metres in just 162km (100miles). The equivalent of 3 times up Ben Nevis!
