Entries open at 7pm today (14th January) for the Drumlanrig Tearfund Cycle Challenge. The event takes place on Saturday 5th May starting from the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle and offers cyclists a choice of 100, 62 or 40 mile routes. Organised and supported by members of churches from Dumfries and Nithsdale the event aims to provide participants with a memorable and enjoyable cycling challenge in the glorious scenery and traffic free roads around Drumlanrig Castle, and at the same time raise funds for the Tearfund charity.
For those wishing to enter an email address will appear on their website (http://drumlanrigchallenge.btck.co.uk/) from 7 pm today. The first 300 people requesting an entry form via the e-mail address will get one and you’ll need to get it returned by the end of January to sexure a place. Any entry form requests received after the initial 300 will be put on a waiting list.
