Dartmoor Classic Sportive 2012

If you’re hoping to ride the Dartmoor Classic Sportive next year and haven’t already got your entry in then now is the time to make sure you don’t miss out. After entries only being opened a little over a week ago the event has recorded its best ever start, with 1800 riders having already signed up for the challenge.
“We had over a thousand registrations in the opening 48 hours and currently we’re getting in excess of a hundred hits a day. At this rate, the event could be sold out well before Christmas, which would be a new record” said chief organiser Ken Robertson.
Amongst some of the more unusual early entries are ones from riders representing Ecuador, Egypt and Uruguay, while several participants from mainland European countries will also being making the trip over to Dartmoor to take part.
Staged in association with Specialized, the UCI sanctioned fixture is a Mid-Devon C.C. promotion which will take place on Sunday 24th June. Entry for the 2012 event is £27, full details can be found via the link below –
