Cotswold Spring Classic
Posted Friday 8th April 2011 –
The 2011 Cotswold Spring Classic, taking place on Easter Monday (25th April), is set to have more of a trade presence than ever before. Now in its third year, the event is being supported by major UK distributor i-ride who will be bringing with them their demo fleet of De Rosa and Eddy Merckx bikes (including the 2011 Race Bike of the Year – the De Rosa R838) for riders to try out at the event HQ after the sportive. Along with bikes from De Rosa and Merckx, a full fleet of Campagnolo 11 speed test bikes will be available, giving people the chance to try out the Italian company’s flagship range – including the range topping Super Record groupset.
As well as the bikes, there will be plenty of other goodies on display from likes of Speedplay, Fulcrum, Continental and Northwave.
The Cotswold Spring Classic is a fully supported sportive, taking in some of the best roads and climbs the Cotswolds have to offer. The event boasts two stunning route options, neutral service support from Performance Cycles (in association with Fulcrum & Continental), well stocked feed stations, High5 nutrition, free hot food for all riders, MediBike motorcycle outriders, electronic chip timing, event photography, rider goodie bags, showers, ample parking and much more.
With a limit of just 600 riders, which is fast filling up, time is running out to get your entry in for this year’s event.
