Champions of CycleSport Dinner – the annual cycling event organised by children’s charity Action Medical Research has been hailed as ‘the cycling event of the year’ by guest Chris Boardman MBE. The charity has partnered with UK’s No.1 online cycle and tri-sport retailer, Wiggle, for its third annual event which will be held at The Hurlingham Club in London on Thursday 22 November.

This star-studded event celebrates Action Medical Research’s passion for all things cycling. The 650 guests will be joined by some of the biggest names on two wheels including Chris Boardman MBE, Dave Brailsford CBE, Joanna Rowsell, Jonathan Tiernan-Locke and Jody Cundy and Rob Hayles.

It promises to be a night to remember with live and exclusive interviews with the Champions which will be conducted by Sky TV’s Dermot Murnaghan.

Last year Action Medical Research’s Champions of CycleSport dinner was attended by the UK’s cycling elite and raised a fantastic £100,000 to help sick babies, children with disabilities and those suffering from a rare disease. Guests enjoyed the chance to mingle with their heroes and bid on a whole host of money-can’t-buy cycling and desirable items in the live and silent auctions.

This year Action Medical Research celebrates 60 years of vital research. The charity is currently supporting work around Down syndrome, meningitis, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, premature birth and some very rare conditions that severely affect children.
