£1 Rider Photos at Southern Sportive Events

Southern Sportive have announced a new approach to their rider photography at events for 2012. Working with local photographers and local charities, riders will be able to download their photo after an event for just £1 per picture, and with every penny going to the charity that event will be supporting.
£1 photos are confirmed for the Joker from Salisbury Race Course on April 1st, where Salisbury based charity EdUKaid will benefit from the proceeds, and also for the closed road Wight Riviera Sportive, where it will raise money for the Isle of Wight’s Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
Southern Sportive’s Martin Harrison says, “We see it as an excellent way to offer great value to riders and to support worthy causes in the towns and communities we visit. We’ve been delighted by the response from some young and talented photographers who have agreed to work with us to make this happen, and we’re really looking forward to getting this new feature up and running at our events this year.”
